Technical Principle

Hyperspectral imaging technology is an image data technology based on a lot of narrow bands. It combines imaging technology with spectral technology, detects two-dimensional geometric space and one-dimensional spectral information of the target, and obtains continuous and narrow band image data with hyperspectral resolution.

Hyperspectral image is to carefully segment on the spectral dimension, not only the traditional so-called black, white or differences of R, G, B, but also N channels in the spectral dimension. Therefore, a data cube is acquired by hyperspectral equipment, which not only has image information, but also expands on the spectral dimension. It can not only obtain the spectral data of each point on the image, but also obtain the image information of any spectral segment.

1) Crop Monitoring
Hyperspectral data can be used to classify crops (maize, rice, vegetable fields), to detect the water content, chlorophyll content, nitrogen content, phosphorus content, disease and yield of crops, and to assess the growth of crops, pests and other indicators.
2) Soil Quality Assessment
Through comparative study on various methods of building soil quality inversion models, the optimal models of hyperspectral remote sensing inversion of soil organic matter, total nitrogen, heavy metals and others can be established; by aerial hyperspectral remote sensing pollution survey, hyperspectral remote sensing soil quality assessment and pollution monitoring can be achieved.
3) Water Environment Survey
Based on the measured water spectral data and the analysis of spectral curve characteristics, the sediment content, suspended matter distribution and chlorophyll content of the water, water depth, water color, water eutrophication, cyanobacteria distribution, etc. can be estimated.
